Why Do We Still Remain Lost?

WHAT'S UP FAMM (:
I was actually scrolling through my google+ when I found this picture. I immediately got inspired to come to you guys and write a quick post regarding this.

So my first thought was that obviously if I can swim, I would not allow myself to drown. And in turn, if I know God and know all the riches and treasures He has for me after this life, why then am I still straying?
