Why Do We Still Remain Lost?

I was actually scrolling through my google+ when I found this picture. I immediately got inspired to come to you guys and write a quick post regarding this.

So my first thought was that obviously if I can swim, I would not allow myself to drown. And in turn, if I know God and know all the riches and treasures He has for me after this life, why then am I still straying?

Yeaa, you might not know exactly what to say or to think.
You might say it's the devil, which is true because he does tempt us. But we still do have the ability to see what's right from what's wrong. Therefore it's up to us to make the right choices.

But you still don't.

This is easier said than done, I know. But if we keep allowing ourselves to be lost in our sins, we won't inherit the kingdom of God. We often find ourselves still straying because of sweet sweet sin. When temptations come we don't flee, rather we just embrace it. So the next time gets easier, and sinning then becomes so natural that you don't even need to think about it, you just do it.

So when you lie about almost everything so well that no one can tell, that's not skill, it's sin. And when you keep getting new guys/girls to smash, it's not cause your so turnt, it's because you've allowed the enemy in. The devil doesn't mind you lying, stealing, cursing, masturbating, fornicating, rebelling etc. All he wants is you to keep remaining lost, so that you've distanced yourself from God and continue in sin.

The devil doesn't care if you go to prison, if you've lost your job or if you catch an std. All he wants is for you to sin, and these are some of the repercussions of sin. But God cares for you, He would never want these things for you. But what more can God do for you if your following a different master? There's still time however, if you want to start a relationship with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

I know you might be enjoying your life of sin now, but trust me God has much more in stored for you. And like I said, I know it isn't as easy as it sounds, but its worth it. The biggest repercussion of sin is the eternal burning and suffering you will face in the Lake of Fire on Judgement day, and there's no escaping that.

So please guys, come with us in our walk with Christ
Continue to fight the temptation!
Cause you know it aint cool to be burning in no fire lol.

    1. Thank you so much for reading! Hope it was a blessing to you (:

  2. Hmm, you're totally right. Though sin maybe tempting in the beginning, its fruits are always empty and unwholesome. When we choose to sin (because it is a choice) we do ourselves a disservice - whether it be from all the things you said (lying, masturbating, fornicating, rebelling etc.) or others. It makes it even harder when the world sees such immoralities as normal behaviour but we need to make our conscience in God be our guide. I'm not going to lie, I'm definitelty not perfect but as long as I have breath in me and choice I'm always going to try and do better. Thanks for keeping it real and telling it like it needs to be said :)

    1. Very much so girlyy! I mean sin does nothing good for us, even when it gives us such pleasure. When all the immoralities constantly bombard us on a day to day basis it's pretty hard to refrain or resist. And if what your doing doesn't feel right or makes you uncomfortable, it usually isn't right- that's kinda like your conscience speaking for you. And I agree too girl, I aint perfect and no one is, but we can always brush ourselves off and get back up again. Thanks so much for reading, love chattin with you (:
